« on: June 07, 2012, 11:16:46 AM »
Saturday, June 9, 2012 is the inaugural Take Your Daughters to the Range Day.  More info can be found on their website or Facebook (for those who aren't too smart for Facebook  :P).

I plan on participating (unless I can get another temp job that starts Saturday).  It's been too long since I've even felt like going to the range.

I'll take them to the range, but they have to bring their own ammo.
I got the blues as my companion.

very cool idea   8)
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

A good time was had by all.  Of course she's off at a party/sleepover now, so guess who gets to do all the cleaning?

I took my oldest daughter, 16, to my very first USPSA competition as my caddy  ;D.  She is sitting on the couch behind me with her boyfriend now.  Payback is a B!tch aint it?  There was a young lady on my squad and I kept asking her if it looked fun, she thinks it would be fun with a .22 but is not sure about a center fire.  I think my 45 may have put a little doubt in her head.  So I am working on the oldest, pretty soon I hope to have all three girls out there shooting with me.

I had a great time and will be shooting in a benefit match next weekend for the ABC house here in Albany, OR.  And I was invited to shoot the Speed Steel match the weekend after that, my two coworkers are running it and they want my weak mind and strong back.  :P

The wife doesn't seem to happy with my plans on being absent every weekend, even though its only a few hours.   :-\  I'm no dummy though see above comment about getting the three girls shooting with me  ;D
