I had an interesting thought.
When W. Bush was elected to his second term, I heard many posters on a left leaning forum stating they were moving to Canada.
(as an aside, the best counter post I heard was "Go ahead. It will improve the average intelligence of both countries.")
Well, I've heard similar comments on conservative forums with the past election. A thought was that we Conservatives are reacting the same as the Liberals.
But the interesting thought is that should the Liberals all leave, our country, as we envision it, would flourish.
Should the Conservatives leave, our country as envisioned by the Liberals would fail.
Not that this hasn't been expressed many times here but, to me, this is a different perspective than I've looked at it before.
Another view: While we would pay the Liberals one way fare to pack and go, they cannot pay ours...for two reasons. One, they can't afford it and, two, they need us here to support them.
