You call for loud and bold action, so I am going to ask you directly:  You live about 235 miles from Newtown, CT, Why are you not there in the faces of the anti's and media putting them back in their place?

You blame many of us, and you scream we need to be loud and bold.

What have you done and what are you doing that will matter?

Cuz it's a long f*cking walk .
I was in touch with my Senator that afternoon, and sent a letter to the local paper the next day.
I've also been sending letters to every news outlet that comes up on yahoo news.
Will what I do matter ?
It will matter a lot more than sitting on my ass whining about how tragic this is.
What are YOU doing ?
Asking God's help ?
He already gave you common sense and free will, how much more do you want.
Quit whining and use the gifts you've already been given.

I have answered a few requests for memberships in the National Rifle Association;
I have been on two radio programs speaking on this;
I have consulted with a newspaper columnist, and a radio news director (not the asshat I ripped a new one after he ripped me);
I have met with two shooting organizations addressing how our local groups are going to move forward in our communities (area covering over 5,000 square miles of membership);
I have answered questions and concerns with a local school district wondering what to do;
And, I have my communications ready to go to my elected officials, local, state and national on Wednesday, December 26th.

I'm sorry you don't have a vehicle, but you talk like you are the only one working.

Or have you worked to get the debate back on the actual topic of crazy people running loose ?
That's what we need to address .
I'm going to do some googling for knife attacks to get ammo for "It's not about guns" .
There is already some legal precedent for locking up a public menace with the case of Typhoid Mary .
The thing is to separate guns from the issue .
There were no guns used on 9-11 ,
There were no guns used on the Tokyo subway
There were no guns used in the Madrid Train bombing
or the London bus bombing .
