Watched an old video of the hanging of Amon Goeth, the butcher of Plaszow! They hanged him three or four times before they got it right. Couldn't have been a more fitting end to that guy...

Standard hangman noose from what I could tell. It was a pretty bad video and it's gone now from youtube. He appeared to smile towards the end!
