I have a BofA credit card and I'm keeping my account open and active.  Why?  Because it is a no-fee points card and I do all my regular shopping with it.  Groceries, gas, everything.  I also pay it off in full every month so I never incur any interest charges.  Then every 8 to 10 months I redeem 25,000 points for $250 in cash.  So I'm one of those minority customers where they lose money.  With my last redemption, I donated some to the NRA-ILA and CalGuns Foundation.   ;D

Boa is evil.   sadly it has a good chunk of the banking for the disabled( legal, not the helpless)  becuase of this accessabilty.   it makes me sick.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

They have changed politically 180 degrees since they were NCNB, and than they became NationsBank and they turned to the dark side.  Hugh McCall was the last decent Conservative CEO they had in the 80's when they were a Charlotte, NC based southern regional bank.

They're real estate loan officers, underwriters, and other real estate dept.'s are terrible people to deal with. First hand exp. with that division.

They don't lose money with you, they just don't make any extra from you directly.

They make their money from the vendors where  you make your purchases.  They get a percentage of or surcharge for each purchase you make which is paid by the merchant and thus included in your price.
