Wonder which countries slaves came from.

Would be interesting to see if the descendants of slave traders there are living better than the descendants of slaves here.

Black slaves came from  Sub - Saharan Africa, mostly bought in shipload lots from Arab slave traders who went to the interior and bought either war prisoners, or excess population from tribal leaders, (Yes, they sold their own people. )
As for how the traders have made out, one branch of  the Obama family of Kenya has done very well.

I wonder if we can send this guy back since he hates it here so much? I'll help him pack. The problem would be finding a country that would take him. Africa has standards these days. Maybe Zimbabwe? Yeah, he'd fit right in.
