Huckabee jokes at NRA conference about someone trying to shoot Obama

This is exactly why I will never get elected to office.  I suffer from the same disease:  Open mouth and stupid thoughts start spilling out before engaging brain.

Teaching firearm safety has been the best (or in some cases - worst) thing for my joking.  When you are trying to teach the general public that shooting and hunting are safe sports if handled responsibly it takes all the humor out of a lot of jokes that used to be funny.
