I have not had the opportunity to call Ruger YET.
I noticed last week, after cleaning the Mrs's SR9c that the trigger did not reset in dry fire. It is not all the time but it was happening. I re-field stripped the gun and checked it for damage or something stuck in it where it did not belong. I did not find anything I swapped parts from my SR9C and the issue stayed with the Grip/fire control assembly. Comparing visible parts I saw differences in some where they had been changed but nothing that looked functional.
We took it to the range and had 5 failures out of 50 rounds. Most reset when the slide was racked and some took multiple slide manipulations and a mag drop to reset. These were across several mags. I cleaned it again and it still does it.
The gun likely has less than 500 rounds through it. It is only 8 months old. (I have got to get here out more)
Any suggestions of other things to look at? I will be calling Ruger on Friday afternoon.
