Who is Dan Bongino?

I knew nothing of Dan Bongino until about an hour ago.  I stumbled across a link to one of Vipp Jaswal's FOX radio shows entitled "Redefining Patriotism: Resigning from President Obama's Secret Service" (http://tinyurl.com/Bongino-Show) and was curious.  It turns out that this guy is campaigning for Maryland's 6th Congressional District.

Bongino's forty-four minute interview with Vipp passed in what seemed to be a fraction of it's actual length.  His story is one of professional dedication, personal sacrifice, and unwavering belief in what makes our Nation exceptional.  Bongino decided to set aside a secure paycheck and pension to embark on a seemingly impossible mission - to win an election as a conservative libertarian in Maryland.

There is still hope for our Nation because there are folks like Dan Bongino all across America.  Men and women who believe that as government expands our freedom contracts.  Men and women who believe that a healthy free market is superior to wealth re-distribution and that socialistic "greater good" policies are cancers destroying our lives and our children's future.  Men and women who need our support in their efforts to restore the strength and vitality that our Nation once enjoyed.

We can sit back and rely on someone else's action or we can "put down the Cheetos" and join the force to restore America.

     Fox News did a 2-3 minute story on him many months ago - if not last year and then nothing....

 The rumor I heard was that after the 2008 election several Secret Service employees put in for transfers to other Government jobs.

I may be overstating it, but I think the guy is cut from better cloth than most up there in 100 years..
I think a great deal of him..
I saw him on an interview right after he left the Secret Service, on Hannity, I think..
Just because of where he's running, I don't see how he wins.
