I had the SIG 238 and loved it but couldn't be consistent enough on accuracy for my expectations so it had to go. The 938 had some tug at my heartstrings and my coworker let me test drive his. It was close but something about the way the EMP felt in my hand was that "goldilocks" moment of just right. My SIG C3 crimson is the closest any other pistol has felt like that.

As much as the boss has grumbled about things, she is right. Happy wife = happy life and all that goes with it. In truth though I have probably exceeded my allowance of purchases for a while now. The LGS has me in their system and I've gotten the forms down to a rapid quick fill rate this year. I just can't convince the owner to institute a punch card buy 10 get 1 free system.....yet.
"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."
- Thomas Jefferson, Commonplace Book (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria), 1774-1776
