SIG P220 & SIG Slim Grips

WOW!  Great feel!  Picked up a pair of SIG Slim Grips from Top Gun Supply for my P220 and they are amazing!  Brings my P220 to feeling like my 1978 Browning BDA.

HIGHLY recommend the SIG Slim Grips and Top Gun!

I also bought a set to try to fix "stubby finger syndrome". It's a long reach to that 220 trigger for me and the grips did help, just not quite enough. I like'em though.

Same boat Mack.  I am thinking of sending my SIG to Gray Guns or SIG to have them put on a shorter trigger and possibly get the SRT job done on it.

I have the short trigger installed on four of my SIGs and really like it for me. I had the factory trigger job done on my P226 for me while I was at the Armorers course. It was worth it -- they did the job while I was in the school so I never was without my pistol. I did call two months or so ahead to make sure they were ready to do the job while I was there. BTW the short trigger was not the answer to the problem I was having with the P225/P6 trigger  :( and so I need to try something else -- probably a file. The very bottom of the trigger bites my finger in double action mode only. That problem is why I have not used the P6 for league and do not use it as a carry pistol, which is why I bought it to begin with. Other than that my P6 is very accurate and runs great. As you can see I like SIGs. :)

Other than the Mosquito, I've never heard anything but praise for Sigs. Carried the DA/SA 9mm, then .40 cal for 15 years after mandatory surrender of our S&W, Model 66 duty guns, and just cant break the habit for my serious retirement combat rig.

Great information Bill.  Makes me think I should try one before I sell myself on it.

Good habit to have Mack!

Ron,
I do like the short trigger on all 4 but there is the enumerated problem with one of the four.
I recommend both the short trigger and the action job. But it would be good to try the short trigger first. What I did was have one installed on the P226 and liked it. So I put one on the rest. I like the short trigger on the P239 and especially on the P220. The P225/P6 might not have needed a short trigger. But I was having the problem with the long trigger and thought the short trigger would help after talking to the factory. The results were as reported. I still have the same problem with the short trigger.
Funny thing is I like my 1911 with the long trigger better. Go figure.
