Saw one for sale used, and had a chance to run 3 magazines through it, the "feel" seemed kinda sloppy IMHO, and at 9 and 15 feet didn't group that well, compared to my other 1911 variants, it seemed just OK, trigger pull felt "wet" and "sticky".

There was a post previously about any "bad" 1911 style .45's, llama came up,(and others), and it seems on some other sites, you can get a good one, or a bad one. I think I had an older "rode hard put up wet" minimax.

Test drive one if you want one, many seem pleased with one as well, so that's my .02 cents.
Interesting reviews on this site cover the good, bad , and ugly. Read down a few reviews. Hope it helps.

That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

I just sold one. It was obviously not as finished as a more expensive gun, but everything wseemed to be made to spec. The trigger was not that great, but I changed out the sear and hammer for some I had in spare parts and it was much better.
They use 1911 parts for all the firing mechanism, and Colt Officers magazines. Not a bad gun for the money. I'd pay $250 for a good example, and spend another $50 on some tuneup parts. If it's LNIB I'd pay a little more.
I see the value of Llama products going up in the last year or so.  It's getting hard for me to find a bargain these days ;)
