"By the way, doctors and lawyers own most of the 100,000 or so legal machine guns in the U.S.....thought you should know."

Rastus, not to slow the thread, but where did this determination originate?

Thanks, Mac.
My Class III dealer!  Most of his business (and he's active in the industry at Knob Creek, etc.) is with the doctor and the lawyer...cash business.

Rastus..."My Class III dealer!"  Good enough for me! But not here in NC. A little bit of everyone has them. Strangely, a lot of rich farmers, related to our rural Sheriffs, tend to be the best customers. AND there are never any problems! As I have observed from years of paying attention, people who jump through that many hoops to comply with the NFA are very jealous guardians of the treasures in their care. I sure am.

According to the FBI, since the NFA was implemented, no legally owned automatic weapon has EVER been used in a crime.

They still need the approval from ATF and their department, you just don't walk into the machine gun store and say I'm a cop just give me one of those. it take a letter from the department and approval from city council
Back up guns---Better to have and not need than to need and not have!

Good info!  I bet the ATF approval comes swiftly. (HA!)  ;D  .  .  .

FYI...the last batch my Class III sold were full auto Colts at a bid price around $950 each.  Just a reference point for ya'll who are buying AR's.......
