Question about the 9mm Bushmaster pistol
« on: September 04, 2008, 05:31:29 AM »
The factory handgaurd for this particular firearm is an oval configuration with a m203 "type" grip attachment. MY question is can this oval hand guard be replaced by a more standard 4 rail hand guard? Sure that it could be done just never seen it before. My largest interest is the addition of a lighting system. If anyone knows of a mod or method please let me know.

If you're talking about the Carbon-15 pistol the Type 97S handguard has a Piccatinny rail for that allows you to mount lights and whatnot. They used to sell that type of handgusrd to upgrade the other pistols. They probably still do.
