It infuriates me to no end that the Dem party, once the working mans party, now is the socialist party 
- and people believe the B/S that BHO spits out because it's Change - What kind of change 
- That'ss what I want to know and what I see & hear I don't want.
I hate to disillusion you, (not really, I even tell children there's no Easter Bunny
) but when you talk about "the Working mans Party" you ARE talking about the socialists, they were the ones who started the unions. The Trade Unions in EVERY other country in the world remain communist front organizations. The whole reason organized crime WAS ALLOWED to infiltrate Unions in this country was to drive out the socialists who were rightly seen as dangerous radicals.
The dems have consistently opposed EVERY US military action since the Mexican American war of 1846, (when Thoreau retreated to Walden Pond in protest) They split the nation in a bloody Civil war in an attempt to keep blacks enslaved even though that was no longer a viable economic strategy, Northern Dems (Copperheads) were widely engaged in anti war treason, dems opposed war with Spain despite the apparent bombing of the battleship Maine in Havana harbor, dems opposed US involvement in WWI, dems opposed US involvement in WWII right up till Germany invaded the Soviet Union, suddenly they were all SCREAMING for war, dem Harry Truman snatched stalemate from the jaws of victory in Korea because His party was opposed to fighting communists, dems broke many laws, including treason, in their opposition to the war in Vieynam, despite the fact that it was 2 dems, Kennedy and Johnson who got us into it in the first place, Dems initially opposed the First Gulf war, and have lied and sabotaged our efforts in the second. Their idea of "Foriegn policy" is to "talk to our enemies" "engage them", 200 years ago Jefferson tried that with the Barbery Pirates, it did not work. You know what DID work ? Whooping ass and changing regimes, worked like a charm, we had unimpeded access to the entire Mediterranean for 200 years, and just to drive the point home, peanutboy carter tried to talk to, and "engage" the Iranians, (the same towel head bastards Obama wants to talk with, and "Engage) It did not work, what worked was Ron Reagan talking to HIS generals about bombs etc. The hostages were released the day he took office.
Dems have been Racists through out their history, besides the afore mentioned civil war, it is interesting to note that the KKK was founded by Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest, A democrat, The segregationist movement in the south was made up of Democrats, like George Wallace, for 2 modern examples of dem racism we have their continuous anti semetic diatribes against Israel , and affirmative action, the last Jim Crow law which basicly says, minorities are to dumb and lazy to compete with white men so we must lower the standards for them, what this does is deprive minorities of hope and ambition so they will remain dependent on dem welfare handouts, and there fore remain dem voters.
Then there are their "economic policies" First there was the matter of clinging to slavery when machines could do the work more efficiantly and MUCH cheaper, this at a time when the only thing slowing the Norths industrial revolution was a shortage of labor, We had to fight for 5 years before we were able to move the excess labor force from the southern fields to the Northern factories where they were actually needed, since then they have clung to the Marxist theory of "You earn it and we'll spend it" the "best" idea they have been able to come up with is to give money to the least deserving segments of society.
You mad because the Social Security System you paid into is going to hell ? Thank the dems, as originally implemented your SS payments went into a trust fund that was paid out to the people who had contributed. Johnson (dem) and his dem congress fixed that, they shifted the money out of the trust fund into the general fund and used it to fund his "Great Society" war on poverty (50 years later we still got poor people, guess that didn't work so well) Then Clinton/Gore decided to pay benifits to ilegal aliens who had never paid in to the system, and by the way, they decided to tax you retirement payments as well, the fact that you already paid taxes on the money when you earned it is irrelevant when it's for people who are committing a crime simply by BEING here.
In conclusion I'll sum it up by saying that the democrats have been economically ignorant, militarily gutless, Racist liars through the entire history of the misbegotten party.
