This will be debated for some time. At least until the 2021 numbers come out.
DOJ's Victimization report. Differs from the FBI UCR's in the way it is measured and which crimes are included. Murder is not in this report.

Basically, fewer violent crimes (other than murder) 2020 over 2019.
