Revolve Tec Rollable Composite Technology
« on: September 19, 2024, 04:13:56 PM »
This composite material wants to stay rolled up, in either direction. The multi-layer Bistable Rollable Composite is the a brainchild of their parent company Rolatube. That sounds kind of familiar. The company is headquartered in the UK, with new facilities in the US, and I just heard about this. They make an Ultra Compact Shooting & Hunting Tripod with 29" and/or 51" legs. With an optional SaddleGrip Shooting Saddle or Axis HD Ball Mount. There's also an Ultra Compact Camera Tripod, which looks like the same tripod and Axis HD Ball Mount. They have a Universal Accessory Mount with an M8 female thread and 1/4″ male thread that attaches to the rollable boat hook handle. One of its uses is as a selfie stick. Other items include a Rollable Boat Hook, Deck Brush - Soft, and Deck Brush - Stiff. And if that's not enough, they also make an 8' long Emergency VHF Antenna. 8)

""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Letter to Alexander Hamilton, Friday, May 02, 1783
