Actually, many of the problems with Wolf can be traced to the weapons used to fire it. The AR's don't like it much because of the steel cases and tight chambers which, combined with the gas flow into the chamber makes for sticky cases (it's not the lacquer as some claim). AR's too often suffer from increased wear and/or failure of the extractor because the cases are somewhat harder than brass, even though it's only mild steel. In AK's and other more tolerant weapons, Wolf runs ok, though it is dirty. Personally, while I prefer a better grade of fodder, I would rather have Wolf than nothing.
