Yesterday, the brass at ABC News issued orders forbidding reporters to wear lapelpin American flags, or other patriotic insignia. Their reasoning >>> was that ABC should remain neutral about 'causes'.

Since when is support for preventing our death & destruction some sort >>> of a cause? Since when is Patriotism to be discouraged. I urge you to >>> boycott ABC and its sponsors and affiliates.

We are slowly losing everything our country stands for, and everything our men and women fought and died to preserve.

Snopes says they did it to protect overseas reporters. what a bunch of pansies! in fact, I think I'll have a BIG flag put on the back of my jacket. just to piss people off!! seriously, I've been in some rough spots, Libya, Syria, Mozambique, Angola, Mauritania. Never stopped me from being a proud American or wearing patriotic shirts. never once considered doing what the girlie liberals do and claim Canadian citizenship either. that pisses me off. anyway, I'va also been buying alot of shirts lately with flags etc.. on them, I think I'll start wearing them more often.

They want to remain neutral 

I don't understand this ... Are they ashamed of being a part of the United States ... Or are they American just like BHO is Christian (I will be it as long as it does not hurt my chances at something else).

Since they don't want it to be known they are American, I think that for security reasons the Government should pull their credentials for all reporters embeded with the military and any governmental agency worldwide.

And, maybe it would be wise to pull them out of the main body at press briefings, and put them with all the other foreign press.

maybe learning a new language? that's one hell of a give-away. looks like $#1^, smells like $#%^, sounds like $#!%, then it must be.. you know. it's very difficult for an American to hide their origins. hell, even Canadians talk different, eh.

I don't watch any of them.  Haven't been doing that for a while.  Well, ABC's, GMA I watch a little to look at Diane Sawyer.  Maybe first 1/2 hour and look for hunting, shooting and horse programs.
