My question is why is the BATF on this? SS is supposed to be in charge of this type of stuff.

Anti: I think some of you gentleman would choose to apply a gun shaped remedy to any problem or potential problem that presented itself? Your reverance (sic) for firearms is maintained with an almost religious zeal. The mind boggles! it really does...

Me: Naw, we just apply a gun-shaped remedy to those extreme life threatening situations that call for it. All the less urgent problems we're willing to discuss.

BHO was the first Pres. candidate to get a SS detail, and they broke up a couple of meth addicts in Denver that were going to "get him" at 800 yds. A far fetched plan at best, but there is a bunch of agencies that anticipate potential problems with security for BHO, its a 24/7 job, and I'm sure its not easy.

The left will portray it as "gun crazy" people, but I hope it doesn't get to that level of BS.

Actually, its been part of thier charter to protect the POUS, Forign heads of state/ diplomats and the front runners for POUS for 3 months before the election.   Its been that way for as long as I can remember...   Obama is just the 1st one where it has been very public.
