NRA and the election

In 2007 at the St. Louis conference I signed up for the FrontLines with the NRA/ILA, and heard nothing.  In 2008 at the Louisville conference I again volunteered and I again heard nothing,  sometime during summer I went to the NRA/ILA web site and again volunteered and heard nothing.  I sent money to and volunteered for various candidates on my own, the only thing I got from the NRA was the list  of who to vote for.  I'm still waiting for the orange sportsman for McCain bumper sticker.  On my level the NRA is all talk, I'll stick with them because like McCain they my not be perfect but their all we've got.
