Cz82
« on: August 05, 2012, 05:28:55 PM »
Hi,

I am new here. Not new to firearms. I am from TN and work in law enforcement. Here are three pics of my CZ82. This wasa hand picked weapon that the previous owner got from AIM surplus.

CZ has an excellent reputation, and the Makarov design that it resembles could only gain from their attention.
Like John Moses Browning's 1911 is a great pistol, Para took it to the next level with the double stack magazine.

J&G sales has them for $239.99 plus shipping. Look at that Aim surplus CZ82  I just might buy one. I heard that the 9x18 is more or less the same as .380acp.

The 9x18 holds 1 more round but you seem to have far fewer choices in bullet configuration.

Hornady makes some ftx rounds for it and some of the silver and brown bear Hp's look promising. Heck 12 plus one isnt bad at all.

I'm so tempted, but just don't need another caliber.

And, btb, most 9mm guns have enough tolerance they'll fire 9x18 even though it heads spaces 1mm short.

NOT RECOMMENDED THOUGH.

Will work for ammo

My girlfriend and I just bought a pair and they have some finish wear but the the internals are spotless. I just ordered a pair of tins of 9x18 and mags from Copes. These are some sweet little guns.

That bore is sparkling clean!  Makes me think that it's time to do some shootin'.  Are those grips bakelite or wood?
