I've read MBs blog posts on the state of the industry. I understand and join in the sentiment. But I am left wanting for a deeper understanding of what is going on in this country regards guns/shooting/hunting.
I hate to be the fly in the ointment but I have some questions. Stuff I don't see in the typical web writings. It is the analytical in me that wants to get a handle on this. Wants to break it down so that a "real" plan can be built. I invite suggestions and information, but not opinions if you know what I mean. I personally believe in the Jonathan Winters approach to American culture.."everyone ought to own a .45 and a prayer book". But that ain't gonna happen. Let's treat this as the business that it is. If I was getting a presentation from a co-worker or consultant these are some things I would want to know before approving and funding an action plan. I have never seen a treatment of the subject along these lines (and maybe I never will

). I sure hope the shooting industry has this kind of info. Again this is not exhaustive. Its all of 5 or 10 minutes of noodling on it as a topic...
