CMT has ordered eight episodes of “Runnin’ Wild …From Ted Nugent,” a reality-competition series that will feature the right-wing rock star and hunting advocate teaching contestants how to survive in the wild, then chasing after them along with his 18-year-old son, Rocco

Series will begin running on the MTV Networks channel in August.

Bischoff Hervey Entertainment ("Scott Baio is 46...and Pregnant") and Insomnia Media are the production companies behind the project, with Eric Bischoff, Jason Hervey, Steve Bowler, Bret Saxon and Jeff Bowler serving as exec producers. Bob Kusbit, John Hamlin and Claire McCabe handle executive producing tasks for CMT.
