Radio chips coming soon to your driver's license?
Privacy advocates are issuing warnings about a new radio chip plan that ultimately could provide electronic identification for every adult in the U.S. and allow agents to compile attendance lists at anti-government rallies simply by walking through the assembly.

The proposal, which has earned the support of Janet Napolitano, the newly chosen chief of the Department of Homeland Security, would embed radio chips in driver's licenses, or "enhanced driver's licenses."

Oh well, I guess if I didn't carry it when out of the car, it would defeat the purpose.  I can then see companion legislation saying you must have your "papers" with you at all times.

Better still I might "zap" it with high voltage or high intensity magnetic field to see what would happen.

I could also wrap it in foil to reduce the detection range.

Janet Napolitano now there's someone that's looking out for America by not insisting we secure our borders and insist compaies use E-Verify.  She wants to investigate ICE for their work place raids that catches illegal aliens working in the U.S. and taking jobs from legal Americans

If folks start doing sneaking things to keep the Gov. from violating citizen rights to privacy, they will simply make it mandatory to have the chip implanted.  As a bonus, a receiver could be added so that an individual could be rendered unconscious for easy apprehension should the need arise...

RFID also known as "REAL ID" is old news. Several states have refused to participate. NH State Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional 2 or 3 years ago. It is also one of the Federal rights infringements specified in NH's Sovereignty Bill.
