Juarez Mex. under martial law
« on: March 07, 2009, 10:08:23 PM »
Saw on the news tonight the Pres. of Mex. has declaired martial law in Juarez.  Some of the violence has also spread across the border into the U.S.. Phoenix has also been named the kidnap capitol (all drug/gang related) So, take care & watch your back!
“As democracy is perfected, the office of the President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people.  On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and a complete narcissistic moron.”  H.L. Mencken, The Baltimore Evening Sun,  July 26, 1920.

Geraldo had a show on Fox News tonight about the Mexican drug wars and the problems it's causing and the kidnappings in Phoenix.  The mayor of El Paso said that drugs are coming north and that "we are providing guns" that go south.  There were some other comments made during the show that were basically anti gun.  Geraldo said something like providing firepower to the drug kings.   I imagine we are going to hear more gun ban stuff to stop the violence in Mexico, and if you oppose gun control measures that "help" Mexico fight the drug war and violence you will be labeled as racist.

Survivalblog.com had an article on the expectation that kidnap for ransom in the US will pickup as the drug gangs spread out more, especially in the major urban areas. And the victims are related to the drug dealers for now. Entrepreneurs in the US may see kidnappings as a way to make up for other loses in illicit income.

I saw a report (don't remember where) that talked about the guns in Mex. coming from the U.S.. According to the report the Mex. government wouldn't give the US the serial numbers from the guns. So until they do there is no proof of where the guns are from.

Since when have banners required "proof"?

They don't want it proven that the American made guns are from Government purchases.
