What happens to BATF firearms seizures?
« on: May 08, 2009, 11:35:56 AM »
 ???

I noticed in yesterdays Wall Street Journal, three full pages of very small print, detailing BATF seized property notices.  By far, the listings were firearms.

The disclaimer at the bottom notes that the seized properties are not for sale and that BATF does not have information concerning the sale of property.

What happens to these firearms after the third notice expires?

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

I bet the best end up in the hands, quite by accident,  of employees.
