No, it was neither me nor Alf the Wonder Beagle!

Although, if the guy who capped the lion reads DOWN RANGE, brother, I've got a box of ammo for you!

Alf, BTW, just ate half a bag of New Mexico green chile powder...she's in for a VERY interesting walk tonight!!!

Just a dog, anybody price some canines lately, I've seen good bird dogs valued at five thousand, I've seen some little furry critters advertised in the paper between five hundred and close to a thousand, pound for pound, I think they are worth more than a prize cow.... ;D

You need to understand that this is in the jurisdiction of the People's Republic of Boulder. The rest of Colorado doesn't even claim that they're on the same planet as the rest of us. We're talking Berkley of the rockies here. This is the community that allowed Ward Churchhill to stay on the staff of CU in boulder long after the rest of us figured out that he was a loon. So please understand that in a more typical community there would never be a issue. In Idaho Springs west of Denver there was a teenager jogging along a trail who was killed by a mountain lion some years ago and most of us understand the danger and would react in the same way to protect our family and a pet we consider like a member of the family.

Surely this will all be dropped. I can't believe they would seriously try and charge the guy.

I would love to think this wouldn't happen, but I have lived in California in the past and have learned that governments are a little stupid about these things.  I know, I know this is in Colorado, but idiots seem to survive everywhere.  Hope sanity wins out in this one

I missed the news.  Tumblebug, is there a release on the outcome of this?
