Not much help, was it? No matter what rational explanation is presented, the mindset that, "Guns are bad and 'regular' people can't possibly rise to the occasion and handle things" seems to win out in the media.
I also liked how they took 18-21 year olds saying,"I wouldn't feel comfortable sitting next to someone with a gun".
#1- they would be even MORE uncomfortable if they knew some of the crap people were carrying in their pockets.
#2- Most kids are "bulletproof"...most have never seen trauma or death and live in a world where if you believe hard enough it becomes reality.
I know a 54 year old woman who is exactly the same way. No guns, no where, for no one.
It all changes when someone gets victimized.
Wait 'till China takes over...they don't like the way things are going NOW?
