N. Korea Releases Hostages = Photo OP
« on: August 05, 2009, 09:11:39 AM »
Didn't catch the whole broadcast, but here's what I saw.  Two tearful young journalists surrounded by Bill Clinton, Al Gore and other "officials".  If they were U.S. citizens, what were they doing in a country that Our State Dept. has on the "No Travel List" in the first place?  Is it just me or did Bill Clinton actions undermine the rhetoric that his wife, the Sec of State, has been spouting for the past 7 months?  And what was Mr. Gore doing in the picture?  The sound was not on during the broadcast so I did not hear what they were saying.  Was Gore blaming the whole incident on Climate Change?  Perhaps the N Koreans were experiencing "hot flashes" or "chills" and that's what made them do it?  At any rate, it was One Awesome Photo Op!  The Rev. Jackson must finally accept that as long as the Clintons are around, his services are no longer required.

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

My personal headline:

"Welcome home to brave American journalists."
Sub heading: "Former President Bill Clinton shows up weak and wishy washy current president." ;D

It is very clear that Barack Obama has little, to no, respect around the world.
“What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that the people preserve the spirit of resistance?”

Thomas Jefferson, 1787

Honestly, I'm a lttle confused as to why BO and Hillary didn't open up a back door channel. We get the journalists back and the crisis is over, but ONLY if they kept Bill. ;D

Too much competition for Kim Jong's bevy of beauties!  We all know how Slick Willy likes the ladies!  Probably had the two journalists slip into blue Gap dresses for the ride home!

 ;D

Hey, he always was one Slick Willy.....
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.
