Another question: Has anyone got or shot a Rossi .357 snubby?

The price is right, they are heavy (sturdy), the grip feels right in my hand, but I don't KNOW Rossi.  Anyone have any experience with them before I buy one?  Thanks.

Never had a Rossi handgun in my hand but I do own two Puma lever action rifle which are made by Rossi.  They are good guns.   Fit and finish leave a little to be desired but sturdy and well made actions and quite accurate.

Depending on the born on date of your Rossi it was possibly made by Taurus.

I have a 351 (.38 snub) Rossi. It's OK. It's bigger than my J-frame Smith, and the trigger is not as nice.

For the price, though, they're not bad. My father-in-law has a couple in the .38 and .357 line and they're decent enough.

New Rossi's are made on the same equipment as the Taurus, but the finish and trigger seem a bit nicer on the Taurus. Obviously, Smith is still what all others are measured against.

In short, good gun for the price, but the finish and trigger aren't as nice.
