I keep wanting to fast forward to the exciting parts, but then I realize there ISN'T an exciting part. I read somewhere that the series picks up after a few episodes, but I don't see how.
A question: Are the requirements for a salesman selling a lot (of guns) different than the traits that make a good TV show salesman? That is, might Josh be a good salesman, but a poor TV host? Or, might he be a good TV host, but can't sell guns well? Or, might he be poor at both? I can't remember the last person at a retail store who asked me my name, unless it was for some paperwork.
I too have been thinking what I would do differently to make this show better. I would try to do more with each story. I would have some kind of followup, 'X weeks later' sort of thing. On the other hand, the average gun (or any retail) transaction is boring. Customer comes in, shops, buys something, leaves. Would the same series work better set in a (used) car dealer?
