While I don't share BM's opinion on this particular event, I can understand his dislike for law enforcement.  In the years I've spent alot of time around LE, and I can tell you all one thing, every cop I've met, with the exception of one, hates all of you because you're all just lowlife scum out and about between prison visits.  You can't be trusted with your own safety and you should be thankful that the LE community is there to save you from yourself.  And forming all my opinions from primary sources and direct interaction, a large portion of the LE community abuses their position in society, doing so because they're, a, bad people, b, truly think that its for your own good, c, become corrupted the power.  I myself was looking to be LEO until about the age of nineteen, I didn't want to be that type of person, and I've never been naive enough to think I'm uncorruptable.  Most street LE are ideologically indulgent social workers with guns, and ALL high ranking desk LE are politicians with a small army at their control.

While I enjoy the back and forth banter in jest, this whole thing is a bit disappointing.

Guys, let's back off on the BM insults and jokes. This is a thread about two men - good or bad - who were shot by a real lowlife scum. And in an area that has already seen a number of these focused, targeted shootings, which I find a much more interesting topic for discussion than these personal attacks.

M'ette already took care of the post in question, let's take a (slightly) higher road and deal with the topic of the thread, not the shortcomings - er, rantings - of one of our members.
