Had the .357 snub in the pocket today and my 870 in the trunk...

No threats, just showing the nephew who lives in Ft Collins a typical pump gun that would serve him well for cougar protection.  Just converted another one to the pro-gun side....He and his brother left MA for CO a few years ago to check it out and never came back!  Real outdoors kids, musicians who hike, ski, climb and decided they need something more than a rock sometimes in the back country...

Good for them!

Seems so Jim.....he's not completely converted but we talked for hours about politics, life and general BS and it gives me hope that his generation IS THINKING about what's going on right now.  He's 27 and his brother is 23, both great kids, great musicians and the younger one is hell on a snowboard.  They asked me a few years ago what I would do at their age and I said move to CO, ski, go to school, and find something they love that they could make money doing!

So they DID!

It was refreshing to hear that young people, even some college kids are really angry about the D.C. issues and are begining to get active.  He also has some pretty whacky ideas and conspiracy theories but when you get all your news off the internet, you're bound to start believing some of it.

Springfield XD Tactical .45 in a Comp-Tac CTAC, with 14rds of Fed HST, two 13rd spares on the belt and, just maybe another spare hidden somewhere about my person !!!

There's something about 54rds of HST on the person that just gives one a warm, fuzzy feeling!!!

....now, the Kalishnikov and six mags, both in 'sneaky' bags, in the truck, that's for a special occasion.....
