Die Hard or A Christmas Story?
« on: January 08, 2010, 01:08:24 PM »
This question occured to me yesterday when I hit Pennys to pick up some boxers. I wandered over to the Christmas T shirts which were going for the princley sum of $2. At that price I don't care it they're hot pink, they're still good for yard work. I found my self laughing my ass off at the best Christmas T shirt ever. It says "I triple dog dare you" and has a picture of the kid with his tongue stuck to the flag pole. It was in a billious green, but I still bought two. It led me to thinking about the notable absence of firearms in Christmas flicks. (I mean, what says Merry Christmas more than a new EBR, right?.....right?). I mean hell, even when Jimmy Stuart was going to off himself in that godawful "Its a Wonderful Life", he was just going to jump off a bridge as opposed to manning  up and going out with a sense of style. ;D I asked myself, which spreads our version of Christmas cheer better? Bruce Willis with the MP5, or Ralphy with his quest for the Red Ryder?

I haven't seen it, but just for that, I will modify it if you PM me how. It only lets me modify my post, not the poll.

Until we start standing the one worlders against the wall we will get more mileage out of the whole 50's nostalgia angle.

Death Wish series????

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Um, are we talking propaganda value against the grabbers, or gift set ?
If it's gift sets I need to change my vote  ;D
