Sounds great Guns! I am a big advocate for this type of training, regardless of exp. If you PM m25operator, he has a PDF file of the NRA Instructor req's. (If you don't already have them).
I will go to more as I can afford it. To be around folks that do this for a living, really helped me and my "mindset" regarding shooting any type of firearm.
Little things, like balance, feet width, holstering and drawing, even grip, can always be "tweaked". They all give you expanded techniques and options that you decide what works for you.
As a lefty, I learned weak and strong handed techniques with pistols that are RH only. Off balance reloading, off balance and awkward "non" traditional shooting stances. Reloading a Remington 870, weak handed, one handed, etc,... was really a struggle for me at first, but conditioning my "head" to do things differently, really helped overall. Shooting while moving while the instructor is right on your back, more or less "increasing" your stress level, (plus my instructor loaded all our mags, so you would get a "click" when you wanted a bang"..)
Just a bunch of knowledge, techniques, and shared experiences that always help.
Looking forward to your follow-ups after each round.
