Just one reason KPR and billt are on the hated, most admired list,..... ;)
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

The NRA has a short book, on the 03's, cheap and covers all the above mentioned pro's and con's. I like the A3 03, the sights are very adjustable without tools, and the semi pistol grip feels better to me. Most of the imports, did not have windage adjustments, only elevation, they work fine after a really good sighting session, and drifting with a punch either the front or rear sight to get zero, but won't help you on a cross windy day.

We have a high master that shoots with us in U.S. service rifle, with an 03 A3, high master means he shoots 98% possible score, out to 600 yards as a habit. ;D
