Alot of it is the anonymity. I have little crap heads call in and file anonymous complaints all the time because a officer was speeding to a call. Yea it was the call where I just saved a choking kid. I am not a angel yes sometimes I speed to calls, but you would want me to when your kid is choking to death or the thousand other reasons I have. I just take my bad letter of reprimand and deal with it.

They will say under their breath when you walk out the door of a bar by piggy. Most do not have the guts to say it to your face. You ask them what they said and they just say I coughed. They know if they said it too your face they would be sucking food through a straw.

You are right. And herein may lie the topic for  a future radio show. We all say that an armed society is a polite society. Well the inverse is equally true. An anonymous society is a rude society. People say things they would never other wise consider. There are simply no consequences, social or otherwise. Yet, contrast that to this board. Anonymous yes. Still, its a community. Thus there is accountability. Discuss amongst yourselves. (if you do air this, I want royalties).
