I've seen the videos. I'll take an AR/M16 first, and for full auto, give me a rifle that can hit the same county more than once. Having said that, I've built up two AK47s, and they both are fine for the first shot. After that, the accuracy falls off in rapid fire. The 5.56 is accurate, but the 7.62x39 will go through stuff the 5.56 will not. More ammo with less weight with 5.56, more pounding with the 7.62.
So, what's the mission?
Apples and oranges.
Heck, for CQB, give me a shotgun.

I am with you Mauserman ak (saiga) and glock 20 can't go wrong.   always good to have the saiga S12 with a 20 round drum of 12 gauge slugs handy.   Now if you run out of 7.62 you can always pick your trusty Saiga .223 and keep on stroking.  Heck all three rifles can probably be had for the price of one well dressed AR.   things that make you say hmmmmm.

And you can always split the difference, AK vs SKS, I do like Sks, and am looking for the AK I sold many moons ago, until then.

So, M25, where do you pick up an SKS with a drum mag?

Its an Sks that takes AK mags, including the 75 rd drums. Rifles made originally this way do not have the stripper clip guide..

Isn't there some after market stuff to change the regular SKS from a fixed magazine to removable for this purpose?
