Another gun free zone slaughter

Diplomat, here in NC, private property owners (hospitals, shopping malls, convenience stores, restaurants and some groceries, etc) can post a NO WEAPONS notice that restricts CCW permitees, and many do. I'm speculating that Illinois, a State I fled over 30 years ago, is even more restrictive. I just hate it when I forget... or miss a sign.    Mac.

Wow... I'm surprised to hear that about NC... I imagined your gun laws would  be similar to ours here in TX. Good 'ol boys... I guess I was wrong.

Illinois has no concealed carry. Only LEO's can carry a handgun.

I keep my "part-time" LEO status up so I can Carry, The only problem is unlike other states you don't have armed citizens as back-up. Hopefully in the next 10 years or so money will allow us to move to a more gun friendly state.
ps I lived in Danville in the mid 80's, now I live about 20 miles south of Champaign.
