"Currently we are being beat by anti-immigrants 10 calls to 1. That means for every 1 call you make in support 10 people are calling against the DREAM Act."
-- Pro-Amnesty Group's Alert From Last Night
YOUR PHONING YESTERDAY WAS PHENOMENAL
-- MORE NEEDED TODAY TO STOP DREAM ACT AMNESTY
HERE ARE TOP SENATE TARGETS
Your phoning of Senate offices yesterday opposing a vote on amnesty as early as next week dismayed the national coalition of open-borders groups. They had begun their own phone campaign earlier in the day and had hoped to show Senators that the nation is clamoring for another amnesty.
Your reaction to my mid-afternoon alert was incredible.
But you can't stop now.
ACTION: Phone Senators. Tell them you are outraged that Majority Leader Reid has announced plans to force a vote on an illegal-alien amnesty as part of the Defense bill.
CAPITOL SWITCHBOARD: 202-224-3121
It is most important today that you call the offices of the Senators who are being targeted by the pro-amnesty groups. The following are the ones who are being clobbered with phone calls telling them to pass the DREAM Act amnesty. These are people who have NOT co-sponsored the amnesty but whose past records make the open-borders people think they are vulnerable to pro-amnesty pressure.
Especially if you have any connection to these states or Senators, give them a call today.
REPUBLICANS
Sen. McCain of Arizona
Sen. LeMeiux of Florida

Sen. Voinovich of Ohio
Sen. Hutchison of Texas
Sen. Bennet of Utah
Sen. Hatch of Utah
DEMOCRATS

Sen. Feinstein of California
Sen. Nelson of Florida
Sen. Hagan of North Carolina
Sen. Landrieu of Louisiana

Sen. Conrad of North Dakota
Sen. Dorgan of North Dakota
I am so impressed with how quickly you moved yesterday.
You didn't hear from me until the middle of Tuesday afternoon. I wrote as soon as I heard that Senate Majority Leader Reid (D-Nev.) was probably going to force a vote on the DREAM Act Amnesty as an amendment to the Defense authorization bill.
But in those few hours left in the day, you all became a Phone Cyclone!
I can't independently confirm that you overwhelmed the pro-amnesty phone campaign by such a large amount as the pro-amnesty groups were claiming last night. It may be that the open-borders groups are exaggerating with their own members in order to spur them to far greater calling today.
One thing for sure, though, is that they won't let up this week or next. Every sign is that they believe they have no chance of winning an amnesty the next two years and that the next three weeks are their only chance.
To add this amnesty to the Defense bill, Sen. Reid will need 60 votes. He is claiming 40 Senators as co-sponsors. He has also variously indicated that perhaps 15 more Senators have said to him that they will vote for the amnesty.
Your job is to give those 15 Senators second thoughts and to make sure that the 5-Senator gap doesn't get closed.
