Despite the squib load - which actually I learned a lot from: It was a good week.
Wednesday: Put 300 rounds down range with my XD9 and P99.
Thursday: Shot in a 3 stage indoor match and tested out my time lapse camera.
Friday: Went to the outdoor range and tested some new loads in my Savage 25 .223.
Actually, I loaded them about 6 months ago but just got around to getting them out to the range. And the groups were great!! These are Hornady 75gr Hollow Tip Boat Tails. Loaded with various powder loading. Out of 10 of the 5 shot groups, three were under an inch and one, almost down to 1/2" at 100yds. !!! YES !!! And yes there were two groups just over 1", but the others were all under 1"
Here's a montage where I pasted the three best groups together. The "black" is about 1 - 1/16" dia. All three aren't sized exactly the same so they won't look exactly the same size.

And here is me shooting a stage from Thursday night. Next time, I'll put the camera on the left side to get a better shot of the shooter.
