Saw the story passing on NBC Nightly News. Good for Scalia. and despite my opposition to Kagan, good for her as well. At least, she's not a Sotomayor, that LIED during her confirmation hearings, stating "Heller was settled Law",....and than voted with the thankful, minority, regarding McDonald vs. Chicago....
Maybe some recoil, with Scalia at the range, banged some moderate sense in her future rulings. But, until than I doubt it.
She's been obligated to "recuse" herself from upcoming cases, thanks to her work for the BHO, but not being a judge prior to SCOTUS, can one remain optimistic?
