After disregarding most of the 5.11 tactical pant wearing weekend warriors, at gun shows, and local shops, I know here at DRTV, I can get the resources to make an informed decision based on what works, not just for part time shooters, but from members that build them, research them, tried some things with good and not so good results, and aren't afraid to say so.

My preference is not to build a $2000.00 AR, as posted, I'd get a LWRC REPR, or POF, or Barrett, and just post pics and brag.

This is just a desire to take the time to put together what works.

The AR is like a 57 Chevy. Some are balls to the wall custom and bad ass,.... some are everyday drivers, reliable, dependable, and won't let you down without breaking the bank,.....plus NOT having my wife beat me with it, is a big plus.
