From some things I've read, it appears The Donald might be considering a presidential run in 2012

All I can say now is that he would be an improvement.

You don't live in Palm Beach county. Never has there been a bigger entitled whiner. I say this in ignorance of his political views, just from dealing with his constant fights with local government and his constant demands for this exemption or that from the rules the rest of us live by. If he puts forward a platform, I might change my mind, but until then, he gets the (very succesful) used car salesman treatment. He may be entertaining, but I wouldn't trust him.

FQ will never vote for a REAL American because I don't think HE is one. He's an academic the way Ward Churchil was an academic, they're the ones who cause most of this crap.

As for Col. West, his "actions in Iraq", which resulted in him being booted out of the Army , was to threaten to shoot in the head a prisoner who was not cooperating with the female interpreter. He then fired a round beside the prisoners head. Said prisoner then sang like a canary giving information that saved the lives of several of his men.
Of course the anti American democrats, and academics went apeshit when they heard that American lives had been saved and screamed for his head.
If he runs for Pres I'll vote for him.

Take a midol Tom. Did I not post that I would have voted for the guy had I been in his district (which I should be in if weren't for racial gerrymandering crap)? I just don't think he's quite ready for prime time. Besides as Crusader said, and I hate to say it but he's right, after BO the bloom is off the rose for voting for a minority. BO didn't just get elected, he also managed to make someone like Jindal and West have a tougher row to hoe. The incident with the Iraqi was a solid move as far as I'm concerned and I have never mentioned it for that reason.  As far as me being un-American? Again, midol, it works wonders.

I've watched and listened to the Lt. Col. for some time.  Except for the fact that he is really very little known outside of Florida, he appears to be a wise leader and an honest man.  With the proper team behind him, he could indeed become a viable candidate.  Most of what I have heard from him has been exactly on target.  But after the disaster we are currently experiencing, do you think America is ready for another go for a man of color in the White House?  I believe Odamna has set race relations in this country back about 50 years.  Not making a judgement on the Lt. Col.'s run, just offering a thought.

I have said the same thing about what BHO has done to race relations in this country. And also echoed your remarks about people being gun shy to elect a black man to the white house. (hmm, look what happened the last time we did this....)

I don't think that this would be a huge hurdle for the Lt. Col. We are talking about a man who can, at any given moment come up with an accurate, intelligent, and concise answer to almost any question. Without stammering, or making excuses, or talking in circles. He has been on the front lines, he knows the history and the traditions of this country, and knows that it is that history and those traditions that make us great.

I wouldn't fear too much CR you are comparing a true American MAN (you know, the type with character, and principles) to yellow navel lint. For the real voters, skin color doesn't play into it. The problem is the other half that only CAN vote because there is no law against ignorance. In fact I'm starting to think most of our laws promote ignorance.
