Cobra 9mm Derringer
« on: March 11, 2011, 10:36:34 PM »
I just picked up a Cobra 9mm Derringer, not sure why, just cool. Anyway, the trigger is so hard to pull, I'm almost unable to pull it. The manual says it is a heavy trigger because of the lack of a trigger guard, but damn! If I had to guess, I'd say in excess of 30 lbs. To make it even worse, you don't pull it straight back as with a normal trigger, it's more like pulling down and back at the same time. The pivot point is not above the trigger, more like it is back and above it.

Anyone else have one of these? Are they all this heavy of a trigger? Or do I have a problem? What, if anything can I do? It's basically unshootable in this condition.

I have a Cobra Derringer 38spl myself. I learned that you dont pull the trigger but pull down on it. It does have a cool factor but never use +p ammo in any of these derringers.
