The Libertarian Party of Palm Beach County has sent a letter to the City of Boca Raton concerning a sign which can be found at the entrance to Boca Raton's City Hall stating "NO WEAPONS ALLOWED" which is in direct conflict of Florida statute informing the public one is not permitted to bring a firearm into City Hall. Florida statute says a person with a concealed weapons permit is allowed to enter any municipal building, without restriction, so long as there is no business meeting (such as a city council meeting) happening at the same time. The Libertarians seem to be suggesting the City of Boca Raton is unlawfully banning a citizen to bring a weapon into City Hall - a direct violation of state law. Florida Statute 790.06  Paragraph 12 is very specific in allowing a concealed weapons permit holder to carry a weapon into City Hall and Florida Statute 790.33 inhibits municipalities from violating that right.

Boca is close enough to Palm Beach County, to have the stench of Liberalism just ruin State Law,....why bother with such minor items when Lib, County Commissioners, Mayors, Town Councils, can just do what they want, modify whatever regs. they don't like, and just ignore what the majority of folks voted for.

That's why State Rep. Negron, is pushing hard to standardize the counties to just adhere to State Law.....

Gee what a concept....No More Libtard counties violating State Law. Palm Beach County extended long gun waiting periods from 3day (state law) to 5 day,...like it's going to make difference.

I regret FL, has too much "purple" in an otherwise red state....when you get out of the Northern transplant Libtard areas.
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
