STUPID COMPUTERS! Another lesson learned.

To make a long story short...  DON'T SKIMP ON THE LITTLE STUFF!!!

After getting all the high speed bells n whistles a few months ago, my service still never was impressive.  I just figured it was the best the provider had to offer in this area.  

Well, for no clear reason, the cable between the router and modem just completely failed.  It'd been supplied with the "high end" router, so I'd figured it should be fine when I was hooking all this stuff up...  

I put in a new cat 6 I had laying around and ZOOM!!!  WE'RE COOKIN WITH GAS NOW!!!      

Months of slow service because a single weak link.    Lesson learned!
