BTW, I hear on the MSM that BHO finally put to rest this insignificant issue that had been blown out of proportion by the "Birthers" and Tea Party.

Do remember that what made this issue significant was that BHO spent millions of dollars to prevent his birth certificate (and other records of his past) from being released.  

No matter how trivial they attempt to make it appear now, it was never trivial to BHO.

WOW!

PDFs do work in layers, that is how you can get read-only forms, forms into which you can enter information, or the maker of the PDF can prevent any cut and paste, etc. I am not an expert in Adobe Acrobat by any stretch, but this maps to how I know things work. The guy in the video may be 100% wrong, but until I see how, this is just is incredible.

The reason is simple. I've said it early and often. It was to make the GOP look like idiots. The more the birthers ranted and raved with their conspiracy theories, and the more that the mainstream GOP and Fox News embraced them, the more BO smiled. Because he knew he could produce this and discredit them. Now their credibility on this has been shot, they also lose credibility on real issues. All the admin has to say is "These are the same guys who told you I was a Kenyan born muslim. Remember that?". Herein is why its stupid to go for the tinfoil when there are plenty of rational reasons to oppose the guy.

Here is the latest on the analysis of this birth certificate.

The findings  here are that since the certificate was scanned while still in the book, the form near the left edge "bends" introducing parallax distortion of what is on the form. 

This examiner has shown that some entries on the form do not "curve" as do other lines just above or below them on the form, proving that they were entered after the copy was made.
