The thing you don't realize, is that if they can send bonzo and his related simeon life support into orbit, they can also send a suitcased sized tactical nuke into Florida (or anywhere else).

I'm sure that this is a direct reaction to the Israelis sending a satelite into orbit a few months back.

This is exactly what it is. Thing is, the Pentagon leaked a report a few weeks back that said Iran can build a bomb and there is bugger all we can do to stop it short of invasion as they were smart enough to disperse the program. Their missile efforts thus far have been iffy. Israel yes, Italy maybe. We are just going to have to rely on old school deterrence. "Set off a nuke anywhere and you might as well set off the second one in Tehran and save us the postage". Unless we want a third war in the Middle East, that's about all we can do.
